Recently, FK Lowry Piling were invited to present details on the recently completed Dublin Waste to Energy Project at the Piling in Ireland Seminar held at Engineer’s Ireland headquarters in Dublin.
Entitled, “Foundation Piling aspects of the Dublin Waste to Energy Project” FK Lowry Piling made the presentation to the Geotech Society and guests at the Engineers Ireland event.
Paul Coghlan Chartered Engineer – Principal Structural Engineer, PM Group and Mark McKeown Business Development Manager, FK Lowry Piling presented details and discussed the geology and previous use of the site, the design of the piling elements, preliminary pile testing and the installation of the foundation piles on the project. The half day seminar comprised of four presentations exploring piling in the Irish context. Each session was followed by a Q&A session.
