H&J Martin Construction encourages children to Stay Safe and Play Safe

03 Jul 2018

H&J Martin Construction is sending a ‘play safe’ message to young people at Strandtown Primary School in Belfast, who are currently working on the new £4m 12-classroom extension.

Ciara Doherty from H&J Martin Construction visited the school last week to send out a safe message to pupils, making them aware of the dangers of playing near construction sites.

Some children are drawn to construction sites as exciting places to explore, but we want to get the message across that they are not playgrounds and playing on them can have dangerous consequences. We would urge all parents to keep their children safe by explaining to them the dangers of playing in or around construction sites.

“We are delighted by the input and expertise from H&J Martin Construction. Our new building work is a source of much interest and intrigue and having this safety message shared with our pupils is essential to our safeguarding of every pupils’ welfare.”
