H&J Martin Holdings Ltd whose parent company is Belfast's Lagan Specialist Contracting group has increased its revenue to £61m (a £17m increase on previous year) and reported a pre-tax profit of £444k.
H&J Martin Ltd is one of Northern Irelands longest established construction firms, acquired by Lagan Specialist Contracting Group in 2015. The group specialises in Construction, Fit Out and Asset Management Services and is one of Irelands key players in the Facilities and Asset Management market.
New accounts filed with Companies House show that its turnover of its continuing operations grew £17m from £44.4m to £61.3m in the 12 months to March 31, 2019. Pre-tax profits improved considerably from the losses in the prior year of £2.9m. The group had net assets of £3.7m.
The company provides a range of facilities management services throughout NI, ROI and mainland UK for a variety of private and public sector clients in addition to undertaking a number of construction related contracts including a PRS scheme in Salford, Manchester and the recently completed Strandtown Primary School in East Belfast.
The Group employs 239 staff, showing a reduction from 263 in prior year.
