Members of the H&J Martin Asset Management Services team recently carried out volunteering work for Cancer Fund for Children. The team carried out a range of tasks from painting to cleaning at the charity’s Cottages near Coleraine.
When a family member is receiving treatment for cancer, family life can suffer. Cancer Fund for Children recognises the importance of spending quality time together as a family and offer a range of free short breaks for families coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis. The Cottages afford these families quality time together, doing everyday activities and establishing a sense of normality.
Thanks to the volunteer work of our staff, Cancer Fund for Children can provide another six families with a £250 home heating grant to help prevent compromising a sick child’s immune system.
