Our operational experience over the past eighteen years at Kinnegar WwTW has provided our engineering staff with invaluable insight into the workings of a large treatment works. Research into the biological process has allowed us to implement innovative plant improvements that have yielded better environmental performance, cost reduction savings whilst reducing the risks of potential impacts to the surrounding ecosystems and residents.
The collection of large amounts of data has allowed us to adapt the process to account for seasonal and diurnal changes in the incoming sewage. The investment in online monitoring equipment has allowed real-time plant performance evaluation and improved robustness of the treatment process.
